Pescara and Abruzzo

Adriatic City, Pescara is overlooking the Abruzzo's coast, halfway between the border with the near regions Marche and Molise.
Reaching the city is very simple: by car you can take the highways (A25, if coming from the east, A14 if coming from the North or South); you can also use train links, especially if you're coming from sorth or south; bus routes are very efficient, there are many daily links to/from the near Rome, also directly from Rome airports to downtown Pescara. The airport finally connects Pescara to Orio al Serio (near Milan) with daily short flights and many of the major european cities (London, Frankfurt, Paris, Barcelona...).

Cradled by the sea, crossed by the river, guarded by the mountains of the amazing Abruzzo's National Park: Pescara offers endless attractions and exciting natural landscapes.

The city, in growing architectural and artistic ferment, has recently revised its shopping center in the name of sustainability and modernity; entirely pedestrian and for bycycles is the "Ponte del Mare" that connects the two banks of the river and that has changed, since few years, the skyline of the city; the old town, where there are the birthplaces of famous poets D' Annunzio and Flaiano, at night becomes the real engine of Pescara's nightlife.
